Wedding flower for Annika, who is the bride of BIL. They are going to be wed at 2^nd of March 2004.

I wanted to give the bride some kind of wedding flower thing, after all my own wedding flowers were made with clay too. As she prefers more simplified style and is way more romantic than I am, I started playing with the “general feeling” of those Calla Lillie- based flower arrangements.

I forgot to take work in process pictures of the netting I have made. The bead mix is done with three different kinds of small glass beads: light blue-violet seed beads size 11, dark violet metallic luster seed beads (probably size 10) and dark violet metallic hex cut size 10/11 beads. I could have used only one type of beads, but I believe this mixing of shades is essential for more natural look.

Here is a detail picture of the flower. There is lot to say about the pictures colours, but lets hope it shall be sunny day tomorrow :)
