Brother in Law and his girlfriend went to Southern Europe and bought some shells to me.

I had not seen this colorful ones ever. I did not know there can be violet, green, turqoise and gold in shells. And the shapes, and the textures !

What an inspiring gift !!!

So it was Alley Goop time again. I am starting to repeat myself, aren't I ?

And here is what I made from beads I made with those molds

A detail picture. I used 4 different shades of light green Cernit-Fimo mix and antiqued the beads with both white and brown paints. As someone accidentally misplaced my 0000 steel wool I use to remove the paint from the surface, I used the kitchen sink scrubbing kind of steel wool that I rinsed first to get the soap off. It was interesting but not as good as the steel wold.

And here is a close-up picture from the closure. It is just pretty simple button and loop thing. Although it might look like macramé it is not: I just crocheted a thread over another thread to get this look.
