I have been making polymer clay eggs for a while now. Every year I make a special egg that is delivered to someone important.

Today I was claying to get that “2004 egg” done. Yes, I know. Easter is right around the corner. But there still are some days to deadline.

I first played with the fossil ideas. Some ripped fossil mold sheets... This might look good with some paint antiquing. I was not very happy about theese.

Then I played with the mokume cane sheets and stamp.

I think this is probably going to be “The egg 2004”. The back side is black and it is textured sort of rough.

Tried same thing with hollographic imaging. Hmm... Interesting.
